Black Bean Sandwich

Black beans sandwich or burger are very good and healthy option for vegetarian diet peoples.

Its very easy to make at home and will be a variety for everyone , usually in veg sandwich or burger we mostly use potato patty , so this black bean will surely be a new and healthy option.

Ingredients:

1 . Black Bean- 1 cup  Boiled Drained & rinsed.

2 . Onion        -  1 finely chopped

3 . Ginger garlic paste  - 3 tsp

4 . Coriender & Cumin powder  - 2 tsp

5 . Red chilli powder  - 1 t

6 . Black pepper powder  - 1/2 tsp

7 . Maida or Whole wheat flour  - 3 tbsp

8 . Lemon juice  - 1 tbsp

9 . Salt  - 1 tsp



10 . Oil  - as required for shallow fry

11 . Bread crumbs  - 1/2 cup

12 . Water   - If Needed.

13 . Jalopenos - 1

14 . Garam Masala   - 1 tbsp

15 . Bel Pepper   - 1/2 cup

16 . Tomato ketchup - as required.

17 .  Mustard sause  - as required.

18 . Cilantro  - 1/2 cup finely chopped

Procedure :-


1 . Combine All the ingreindts in a bowl .

2 . Mash the Black beans and mix everything well.

3  . Form into small or medium sized balls or patties.
      apply bread crumbs (optional).

4 . Shallow fry it .

5 . Turn Over the other side  so that they are evenly fried .

6 . Remove Patty on Kitchen tissues to remove excess oil .

7 . Serve Black bean patty hot as .

8 . for sandwich take 2 slice of bread keep the patty on one slice and apply tomato ketch up and mustard sauce keep some slice of onion and put the second slice on it.

TIP  :-

Soak Black Beans - 2 to 3 hours  and then boil them in a pressure cooker with water and salt.

Black Beans should not be mashed very fine & pasty.

The whole mixture should resemble a course bread crumbs.

For binding agent add maida or what flour other wise the patties will break while frying.

As Black beans are very dry in nature they don't have their binding agent so add maida or what flour and some water if needed.

As a healthier option i shallow fried the patty but you can even deep fried it.
