RAGDA PATICE CHAT
Ragda Patties(Street Food Chaat)
Ragda Patties is my favorite chaat recipe. My favorite chaat recipes at any chaat centre would be of course Ragda Pattice, Spdp, Bhel, Samosa chaat, Dabeli . I would gorge on all this chaat centers quite often as a kid. Later after moving over here in Madison Wisconsin it was hard to find all this tasty Chaat centre expect in a Indian restaurant on weekend for lunch buffet. But its dint taste as it should be .I Stopped eating out, so the option is to make this recipes at home in a clean , hygienic manner and with lots of love and positive energy.
Ingredients:-
For Patties
1 . Potatoes Boiled & Mashed :-3
2 . Turmeric Powder :-1/4 tsp
3 . Coriander Leaves :- as required
4 . Salt to taste
For Ragda
5 . White Peas :-250 gms
6 . Oil :-3 tsp
7 . Ginger Garlic Paste :-1tbsp
8 . Onion :-1 chopped
9 .Cumin Coriander Powder :-1 tbsp
10 . Red chilli Powder :-1 tbsp
11 . Water :-1 & 1/2 cup
12 . Asafoetida :- 1.4 tsp
13 . Yogurt :- 1/2 cup
13 . Yogurt :- 1/2 cup
Method:-
1 . To make pattice
In a bowl add mashed potatoes , coriander leaves , turmeric powder &salt, mix everything and
3 .Shallow fry the lattice on both the sides,roast the lattice till nice brown color on both the side.
4 . To make Ragda
5 . Add Ginger garlic paste & chopped onion, turmeric powder , asafoetida , salt, mix everything well.
7 . Saute everything well.
9 . Put the lid of the cooker and let it pressure cook it for 4 times , after that the raga will be ready.
11. For Serving
Get the patties in one plate , add date&tamarind chutney, coriander mint chutney, dahi (yogurt),
Chopped onion, coriander leaves pour the curry on the top of the patties.
