How to make Tiramisu @home.It's a Classic Italian Dessert of a decadent Mascarpone cheese mixture and lady fingers soaked in espresso .This is our all time favorite dessert.This dessert is very easy to make , only important thing is to get all the ingredients ,its like a no bake cake in easy words. We have tried this many times and believe me !! It never goes wrong. The only hard thing of this cake is that it need to get set at-least 2 days, so if you want to make Tiramisu for a special occasion than you have prepare it before 2 days, and its very hard to control yourself from tasting it.




Ingredients:-

1 . Mascarpone cheese 8 oz

2 . Heavy whipping cream  1 1/2 cup

3 . Egg yolk 5 large

4 . Lady Finger cookies 3.5oz

5 . Instant / Espresso Powder 3 tsp

6 . White Sugar 1/2 cup



7 . Water 8 oz

8 . Milk 3 Tbsp

9 . Cocoa Powder as required

10 . Vanilla essence 1 tsp

11 . Chocolate Chips as required


Procedure :-

1 ) In a small bowl Bring water to a boil and add in espresso powder, whisk until dissolved and set aside to cool.

2 ) If you don't have instant espresso powder than Brew the espresso in a normal coffee machine.

3 ) In a double boiler combine egg yolk , sugar , whisk constantly cook for 10 minutes to cook the egg yolks. If the mixture is too hard then add milk n make it smooth. Set it aside and let cool



4 ) After it cools than add the room temperature mascarpone cheese in the egg sugar mixture together ,mix until smooth.

5 ) Take a large bowl combine heavy whipping cream and vanilla essence and mix on high speed until a stiff whipped cream is made.

6 ) Do not whip the whipping cream too long otherwise it will form butter.

7 ) To this whipped cream mixture add the cooled egg and mascarpone mixture.

8 ) Fold this mixture very gently .



9 ) Now it's the time to assemble the Tiramisu take a pan 9"x9" baking dish or a cake pan will be fine as well.

10 ) Dip the Lady Finger cookies into the espresso coffee mixture for 1 to 2 seconds.

11 ) Line the bottom of the baking dish with soaked lady fingers
.

12 ) Spread half of mascarpone mixture on top .

13 ) Repeat another layer of soaked lady fingers and then spread reminder of mascarpone mixture on top.

14 ) Cover with cling wrap or silver foil paper and refrigerate for atleast 10 hour and for best result 2 days /48 hours.

15 ) While serving dust the top with cocoa powder and some chocolate chips. Enjoy!!!

Tips

1 . Mix the egg yolk and sugar mixture constantly as it's on heat it has to be non stop or else the mixture will not get thick.

2 . To whip whipping cream if you don't have a stand mixer you can use a hand mixer as well.

3 . As long as the whipping cream is cold you don't need to chill the bowl and the attachments.

4 . Lady finger cookies must he hard not soft otherwise when you soak it in coffee it will became runny and mush. So do use of had lady fingers cookies. DO NOT USE SOFT THIN LADY FINGERS COOKIES.

5 . You will find all the ingreindts such as mascarpone cheese , lady fingers and etc in your local grocery store or any Italian Market or shops like Work Market , Home goods.
